University study reveals longer marriages tend to be stronger

In an online report published by NBC on Thursday, February 13, a study by the University of California Berkeley revealed marriage tends to improve as the union becomes longer.

The study, which involves 156 pairs, concluded that couples who have been together for 15 years or longer have a better understanding of how to value each other. Additionally, these couples no longer try to change each other.

The study also revealed that couples using the word ‘we’ are better at resolving conflicts, women are more important to resolving misunderstandings, and that DNA might affect marital satisfaction.

However, even couples that have been together for a long time may find that it is time to go their separate ways. At The The Majors Firm, my team and I know that many couples in Rockwall are facing this very situation and are in need of a lawyer they can trust to handle their matters. Call to get the help and support you deserve.
